Indian eVisa Airports and Seaports for Entry

The list of authorized Indian eVisa airports and seaports for entry will be revised every few months, and more will be added over time. At present, only seven airports are listed, but that number will continue to grow. Here is the latest list, which includes the most popular airports, and the validity period for each. Besides the new airports and seaports, Indian eVisa is available at more than 50 airlines and over 400 seaports.

129 Euro

For citizens of most countries, the Indian eVisa costs 129 Euro, but there are certain countries that can apply for a 149 Euro visa. Besides the eVisa, travelers to India must fill out the Air Suvidha Self Declaration Form. This form must be filled out at least 72 hours before departure and is checked upon arrival at the border.

Non-extendable

An Indian eVisa is a visa issued to foreign nationals in order to enter the country. The eVisa can be used for a short stay in India, but it is not extendable, convertible, or valid for protected areas. It costs 129 Euro and must be applied for 72 hours in advance of departure. Additionally, travelers must complete an online form called the Air Suvidha Self Declaration Form in order to enter India. The form must be completely completed before arriving at the border, and if not, the visitor will be refused entry.

Non-convertible

You can apply for an Indian eVisa before you leave your home country and use it as a travel document for your trip. The Indian eVisa is valid for up to 180 days and allows multiple entries. Depending on your purpose of travel, you can choose to stay in India for 90 days or 180 days. There are also two types of eVisas – the tourist and the business.

Validity period

The validity period for an Indian eVisa depends on the purpose for which you obtained it. A single entry eVisa for India is valid for one month from the date of issuing, whereas an electronic visa for business or medical purposes stays valid for one year. If you have an expired passport and want to visit India for transit purposes, you’ll need to apply for an eVisa in advance.

Self-declaration form

A traveler must fill in a Self-declaration form for Indian securing entry into the country. This form must be filled online and contains a negative RT-PCR test result. The report should be taken within 72 hours of departure. It is also necessary to upload the necessary documents. In order to submit the Self-declaration form, travelers must mention their flight number, country of departure, and date of arrival. Besides, they must avoid using special characters while filling out the form online. Another document must be the negative PCR test certificate in PDF format and must be at least one MB in size.
